Hampton Lake’s Humble History

Hampton Lake is a family friendlyt private community in Bluffton, SC. This award winning community has it’s humble beginnings in 2006 when they broke ground for construction. In just 3 years, it had grown into a flourishing, family-friendly community complete with a 165-acre freshwater lake, pools, clubhouse, workout facility, spa, dog park and boating facility. In 2008 and 2009, Hampton Lake was actually named  “Best Community Facility, 151 Homes and Over” and “Best Community, 151 Homes and Over” by the National Association of Homebuilders and Professional Builder Magazine.

2013 Was a Year of Record Growth

By the end of 2013, the private community has 167 sales, 58 homes currently under construction and an additional 48 have been built during the year.  “We are thrilled that so many families have decided to call Hampton Lake home,” said Pratt Reed, President of the community.  “It is a reflection on our beautiful homes as well as the neighborhood’s award winning amenities and active social calendar.” Interest is so strong in the community that they expect even more sales in 2014.

Hampton Lake has many different luxurious amenities to offer its residents and guests. The Tackle box is a handy convenience store, Backwater Bill’s has all your favorite food, Fitness Central is workout central, and the Spa is the place to relax.

The Tackle Box

The Tackle Box, a fishing store located in their Lakeside Village, is your first stop for a day of fishing. It’s the place where you’ll get all the bait you’ll need while the kids and grandkids eyes and run around, look at the candy, and play with toys in the gift store. The Tackle Box offers plenty of the everyday conveniences right on their shelves so you won’t have to run out to the convenience store.

Backwater Bill’s

Backwater Bill’s is the local restaurant and pub. The laid back atmosphere has a laid back dress code where you can wear jeans and check your worries at the door. This is a place where you can bring your friends, kids, and grandkids, eat a delicious meal, and enjoy the slower paced life. Backwater Bill’s features a down-home Lowcountry menu the features corn and crab fritters, chopped salad, and smoked brisket. Inside and outside, you’ll find inviting fishing lodge decor and views of the lake everywhere you turn. You can walk in, grab a seat at booth or the bar, and find yourself listening to the next amusing story of your neighbor who was “this close” to catching a largemouth Tiger Bass on the lake.

Fitness Central

Hampton Lake has a state of the art fitness facility that has all types of cardio and fitness machines available throughout the week. Hours of operation are 6am to 5pm Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm on Saturday, and 11am to 3pm on Sundays. They have a variety of group fitness classes and fitness training services. You can book a session with a fitness trainer who will help you establish an excellent workout routine that will get you in shape and keep you that way.

The Spa

Hampton Lake’s Spa offers a variety of skin care services such as European Facial, Back Facial, Nail Services, Waxing, and all types of Massage offers. If you need to alleviate stress or any type of body pain, consider getting a Swedish Massive, Deep Tissue Massage, or Hot Stone Massage.
